Take Line B of the Metro from any station. If you're near the Colosseum, the closest Metro station is 'Colosseo'. Board the train heading towards 'Laurentina'. Get off at 'Circo Massimo' station. Exit the station, and walk towards Via di Valle Murcia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Greca, and turn left. Follow the road until you reach Piazza della Bocca della Verità, where the Mouth of Truth is located.

If you prefer to take the bus, find a nearby bus stop and take bus number 81 or 87. Both routes will take you towards Largo di Torre Argentina. Get off at the 'Piazza della Bocca della Verità' bus stop. From there, you can easily walk to the Mouth of Truth, which is just a few steps away.

If you are staying nearby, you can easily walk to Piazza della Bocca della Verità. From the Roman Forum, head south towards Via di San Teodoro, then continue straight onto Via della Greca. After a few minutes of walking, you will see the entrance to the Piazza della Bocca della Verità on your left. The Mouth of Truth is located in the portico of the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin at the far end of the square.
