Getting There

Walking
Exit the Gregorian Etruscan Museum and head south towards Viale Vaticano. Turn right onto Viale Vaticano and continue walking straight. After about 10 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Continue straight, passing through the large pedestrian area until you reach Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). From there, follow the signs for the metro station 'Ottaviano'. Take Metro Line A (the orange line) towards Anagnina. Get off at the 'Termini' station. Transfer to Metro Line B (the blue line) and take the train towards Laurentina. Get off at 'Colosseo' station. The Colosseum will be a short walk from the station.

Bus
From the Gregorian Etruscan Museum, walk to the nearest bus stop located on Viale Vaticano. Catch bus number 49, which heads towards the Termini area. After approximately 20 minutes on the bus, get off at the stop 'Colosseo'. You will see the Colosseum directly in front of you as you exit the bus.

Metro
Head to the nearest metro station, Ottaviano, which is about a 15-minute walk from the Gregorian Etruscan Museum. Walk down Viale Vaticano, turning left onto Via della Conciliazione, then right onto Via Ottaviano. At the Ottaviano metro station, take Metro Line A towards Anagnina. After about 5 stops, get off at Termini Station. Here, transfer to Metro Line B towards Laurentina and ride for 2 stops until you reach Colosseo. Follow the signs to the exit, and you will find yourself at the Colosseum.
