    From St. Peter's Basilica, exit the main entrance facing the plaza. Turn left and walk towards the Via della Conciliazione. Continue walking straight until you reach the main road, Via di Porta Cavalleggeri. Cross the road and head towards the Tiber River. Once you reach the river, follow the path along the riverbank until you see the bridge, Ponte Sant'Angelo. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the roundabout. From there, take the Via di San Gregorio and head towards Via della Sapienza. Continue straight until you reach Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore. The Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major will be located on your right.
