    From St. Peter's Basilica, exit the main entrance and face the large square (Piazza San Pietro). Walk straight ahead towards the large obelisk in the center of the square. Once you reach the obelisk, continue walking straight towards the colonnade. At the end of the colonnade, turn left onto Via della Conciliazione. Follow this road until you reach the Tiber River. Cross the river using the Ponte Vittorio Emanuele II bridge. Continue straight on the other side until you reach the junction with Via Cola di Rienzo. Turn right onto Via Cola di Rienzo and walk straight until you reach Piazzale Clodio. From there, continue straight on Via Clodio until you reach Viale dei Gladiatori. The Stadio Olimpico will be on your left.

    From St. Peter's Basilica, exit the main entrance and walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza San Pietro. Take bus number 81 towards 'Piazza Venezia'. After about 10 stops, get off at 'Piazza della Libertà'. From there, transfer to tram line 2 (direction 'Piazza Mancini') and get off at the next stop 'Piazza di Ponte Milvio'. Walk straight for a few minutes to Viale dei Gladiatori, and you will find the Stadio Olimpico on your left.
