Getting There

Walking
From St. Peter's Basilica, exit the basilica and head towards Piazza San Pietro (St. Peter's Square). Once you are in the square, walk towards the colonnade that surrounds the square. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the square, where you will see the entrance to the Vatican Museums on your left. Follow the signs for the museums and exit the Vatican area. From there, head north towards Via della Conciliazione, which will lead you out of the Vatican. Continue walking along Via della Conciliazione and turn left onto Via Borgo Pio. Follow Borgo Pio until you reach Via del Banco di Santo Spirito. Turn right onto Via del Banco di Santo Spirito and continue walking until you reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, crossing the bridge over the Tiber River. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight onto Via di Ripetta. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Via del Corso, and take a left onto Via del Corso. Walk straight until you reach Piazza del Popolo. From here, take the stairs leading up to Pincio Hill, which will directly lead you into Villa Borghese.
