Walking
From the Vatican Museums exit, head towards the main entrance of the Museums. Once you are outside, turn left onto Viale Vaticano. Continue straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via della Conciliazione. Cross the street and head towards the Tiber River. You should see the Castel Sant'Angelo ahead. Continue walking straight, passing the Castel. After approximately 15 minutes, you will find the Big Bus Tours Rome meeting point near the entrance of Castel Sant'Angelo.

Exit the Vatican Museums and walk to the nearest bus stop at Piazza del Risorgimento, which is about a 5-minute walk. Here, board Bus 49 towards Stazione Trastevere. After about 4 stops, get off at the stop named 'Piazza della Repubblica'. Here, transfer to Bus 175 towards Valle Aurelia. After about 5 stops, disembark at 'Piazza Cavour'. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk to the Big Bus Tours Rome meeting point at the entrance of Castel Sant'Angelo.
