Walking
From Vatican Radio, head towards the main entrance of St. Peter's Basilica, which is located just south of Vatican Radio. Once you reach St. Peter's Square, look for the large obelisk in the center. The Excavation Office is located near the entrance to the Basilica, specifically at WF23+MJ2, Piazza San Pietro. It is a short walk, taking about 5-10 minutes.

Public Transportation
If you are further away and need to use public transportation, take Metro Line A to Ottaviano station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to St. Peter's Square. Exit the station and head towards Via Ottaviano, which will lead you directly to the square. Once at St. Peter's Square, follow the previous walking instructions to the Excavation Office.

If you are driving, you can park at a nearby parking facility. However, be aware that parking in Vatican City can be limited. The closest parking is at the Parcheggio Traspole, which is about a 15-minute walk from St. Peter's Square. Once you park, walk towards the entrance of St. Peter's Basilica and proceed to the Excavation Office as described earlier.
