Walking
From the center of Montpelier, head south on Main Street towards State Street. Continue on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with River Street. Turn left onto River Street and follow it until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto U.S. Route 2 West. Continue on U.S. Route 2 for approximately 10 miles. Look for signs for Waitsfield and Mad River Glen. As you approach Waitsfield, turn left onto Schuss Pass. Follow Schuss Pass until you reach 57 Schuss Pass, where Mad River Glen Cooperative is located.

If you prefer biking, rent a bike from a local rental shop in Montpelier. Start from the Montpelier Bike Shop on Main Street. Head south on Main Street, then turn left onto River Street. Continue along River Street until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto U.S. Route 2 West and bike for about 10 miles. Follow the signs for Waitsfield and turn left onto Schuss Pass. Ride down Schuss Pass until you reach Mad River Glen Cooperative at 57 Schuss Pass.
