If you're starting from the Newport News City Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 25th Street and Washington Avenue. Take the Hampton Roads Transit Bus Route 102 towards Norfolk. Stay on the bus for about 35 minutes until you reach the Waterside Drive and Main Street stop in Norfolk. From there, it’s a short walk—head south on Main Street, then turn left onto Waterside Drive. The City Cruises Norfolk is located at 173 Waterside Drive, just a few minutes down the road.

You can also take a ferry from the Newport News Marina to Norfolk. Head to the Newport News Marina located at 4000 Riverwalk Parkway. Board the ferry, which will take you across the water to Norfolk. Once you arrive, disembark and walk east towards Waterside Drive. Turn right onto Waterside Drive and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach City Cruises Norfolk at 173 Waterside Drive.

If you're in downtown Newport News, you can enjoy a scenic walk to the City Cruises Norfolk. Start at the Newport News Park and head east towards the James River. Follow the riverfront path until you reach the waterfront area, then turn left and walk along the river until you reach the Newport News Marina. From the marina, you can either take a ferry to Norfolk or continue walking along the waterfront to Waterside Drive, where you will find City Cruises Norfolk at 173 Waterside Drive.
