If you're starting from the Newport News City Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at 25th Street and Washington Avenue. Take the Hampton Roads Transit Bus Route 102 towards Norfolk. Stay on the bus for about 35 minutes until you reach the Waterside Drive and Main Street stop in Norfolk. From there, it’s a short walk—head south on Main Street, then turn left onto Waterside Drive. The City Cruises Norfolk is located at 173 Waterside Drive, just a few minutes down the road.

You can also take a ferry from the Newport News Marina to Norfolk. Head to the Newport News Marina located at 4000 Riverwalk Parkway. Board the ferry, which will take you across the water to Norfolk. Once you arrive, disembark and walk east towards Waterside Drive. Turn right onto Waterside Drive and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach City Cruises Norfolk at 173 Waterside Drive.
