To reach Historic Green Spring by car from any location in Middle Peninsula, start by locating Route 33 or Route 17. If you are in the northern part of Middle Peninsula, take Route 33 East towards Williamsburg. If you are in the southern part, take Route 17 North. Follow the signs for I-64 East towards Richmond. After about 15 miles, take Exit 242 for Route 199 toward Williamsburg. Continue on Route 199 until it merges with Richmond Road (US-60). Keep left to continue on US-60. Follow Richmond Road for about 5 miles. Turn left onto Centerville Road, and Historic Green Spring will be on your right at 3501 Centerville Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188. Parking is available on-site.

For those using public transportation, start by taking a bus from your location in Middle Peninsula to the nearest Greyhound or local bus station that connects to Williamsburg. Once in Williamsburg, transfer to the local bus service that operates in the area. You can take the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) bus route that heads towards the College of William & Mary. Ask the driver for the nearest stop to Centerville Road. From there, it may require a short walk, approximately 1 mile, to reach Historic Green Spring at 3501 Centerville Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188.
