    From Northern Neck, head south on VA-3 S towards the town of Kilmarnock. Continue on VA-3 S for approximately 20 miles until you reach the town of Tappahannock. Merge onto US-17 S and follow it for about 30 miles, which will take you directly into Richmond. As you approach Richmond, take the Broad St exit towards US-33 E. Follow Broad St until you reach 9th St, then turn left. The Virginia State Capitol will be on your right at 1000 Bank St. Parking may be available nearby but may incur costs, typically around $1.50 - $2.00 per hour.
