If you are driving from any location within Shenandoah National Park, make your way to Skyline Drive, which is the main road running through the park. From the north entrance (Front Royal), head south on Skyline Drive. If you are starting from the south entrance near Waynesboro, head north on Skyline Drive. Spitler Knoll Overlook is located at mile marker 41.5. Look for the designated overlook parking area, which is clearly marked. You can park here and enjoy the views.
