    If you are at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, exit the center and head southeast towards the intersection with Richmond Road. Cross Richmond Road and continue straight onto Palace Green Street. Follow Palace Green Street until you reach the entrance of the Palace Gardens at 300 Palace Green St. The gardens are located just behind the Governor's Palace, which is a popular landmark.

    Take the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) bus route that stops near the Colonial Williamsburg area. You can board the bus at any major stop along the route.
