If you are at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center, exit the center and head southeast towards the intersection with Richmond Road. Cross Richmond Road and continue straight onto Palace Green Street. Follow Palace Green Street until you reach the entrance of the Palace Gardens at 300 Palace Green St. The gardens are located just behind the Governor's Palace, which is a popular landmark.

Public Transportation
Take the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority (WATA) bus route that stops near the Colonial Williamsburg area. You can board the bus at any major stop along the route. Ask the bus driver for the closest stop to the Governor's Palace. Once you get off, walk towards the Governor's Palace and follow the path to Palace Green Street. The entrance to Palace Gardens will be just behind the palace.

If you have access to a bike, head towards the Colonial Parkway. From there, take the bike path that leads into the historic area of Williamsburg.
