Start your journey at the Federal Way Transit Center located at 31625 20th Ave S, Federal Way, WA 98003. From the transit center, board the Sound Transit bus number 186 towards the Tacoma Dome Station. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the 'Dash Point Rd & 56th Ave SW' stop. Once you disembark, walk south on 56th Ave SW for about 0.5 miles until you reach Dash Point State Park, located at 5700 SW Dash Point Rd.

If you prefer biking, start at the Federal Way Community Center at 876 S 333rd St, Federal Way, WA 98003. Head west on S 336th St until you reach 21st Ave SW. Turn right onto 21st Ave SW and continue until you hit SW Dash Point Rd. Turn left onto SW Dash Point Rd and follow it for about 1.5 miles. You will arrive at Dash Point State Park, which will be on your left.

Walk south on 8th Ave S for about 1 mile until you reach S 348th St. Turn right onto S 348th St and continue until you reach 21st Ave SW. Turn left and walk down to SW Dash Point Rd. Take a right on SW Dash Point Rd, and after about 1 mile, you will see Dash Point State Park on your left at 5700 SW Dash Point Rd.
