If you're starting from the Kennewick Riverfront Park, exit the park heading north towards the Columbia River. Continue walking along the riverfront until you reach the intersection with Columbia Drive. Turn right onto Columbia Drive. After about 0.5 miles, you will see a pedestrian bridge on your left leading to Clover Island. Cross the bridge, and follow the path along the island until you reach Clover Island Viewpoint at N Clover Island Dr.

From the downtown area of Kennewick, head towards the riverfront and find the Sacajawea Heritage Trail. Follow the trail east along the river until you reach Columbia Drive. At Columbia Drive, turn left (north) and bike for approximately 0.5 miles. Look for the pedestrian bridge to Clover Island on your left. Cross the bridge and continue on the path to Clover Island Viewpoint located at N Clover Island Dr.

Take the Ben Franklin Transit bus route 1 from any nearby bus stop in Kennewick towards Columbia Center Mall. Get off at the 'Columbia Drive & Clover Island' stop. From there, walk north along Columbia Drive for about 0.2 miles until you reach the pedestrian bridge leading to Clover Island. Cross the bridge, and follow the path to Clover Island Viewpoint at N Clover Island Dr.
