Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the Nisqually Entrance of Mount Rainier National Park. Once inside the park, follow the main road (Mount Rainier Park Rd) for about 12 miles until you reach the Intersection with Sunrise Road. Turn onto Sunrise Road and continue for approximately 10 miles. The trailhead for Mount Fremont Lookout Trail is located at the Sunrise Visitor Center parking area. Please note that there is a fee to enter the park, which is currently $30 per vehicle for a 7-day pass.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mount Fremont Lookout Trail using public transportation, you will first need to get to Ashford, WA. There are shuttle services available from Seattle to Ashford, where you can catch local shuttles to Mount Rainier National Park. Once you arrive in Ashford, take a shuttle to the Sunrise area of the park. Ensure to check the shuttle schedules in advance as they may vary by season.
