Car
If you're driving within Mount Rainier National Park, head towards the Paradise Visitor Center. From there, take Paradise Road until you reach the intersection with Van Trump Park Road. Turn onto Van Trump Park Road and follow it for about 0.5 miles until you reach the trailhead parking area for Van Trump Trail. Note that there is a parking fee of $30 per vehicle, valid for 7 days, which you will need to pay at the entrance of the park.

If you are using public transportation, the closest option is to take the Nisqually Express from Seattle to Ashford. Once in Ashford, you may need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to reach the Van Trump Trailhead directly.
