Bus
If you are anywhere in downtown Seattle, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for the Metro Transit buses heading towards Fremont. You can take Route 26, which directly services the Fremont area. Board the bus and stay on for about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the stop near N 36th St & Fremont Ave N. From there, it’s a short walk to the heart of Fremont.
Light Rail
From downtown Seattle, locate the Link Light Rail station, typically found at Westlake Center. Purchase a ticket and board the train heading north towards Northgate. You will need to transfer at the University of Washington Station. From there, catch the bus (Route 44) towards Ballard and get off at the N 36th St & Fremont Ave N stop. Walk a short distance to reach Fremont.
Walking
If you are near the Burke-Gilman Trail, you can walk or bike towards Fremont. Start at the trail and head west. Follow the trail until you reach the Fremont Bridge. Cross the bridge, and you will find yourself in Fremont. This is a scenic and enjoyable route, taking approximately 30-40 minutes by foot.
Biking
For those who enjoy cycling, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing services available in Seattle. Start from downtown and head towards the Burke-Gilman Trail. Follow the trail until you reach the Fremont area. This bike ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on your pace and is a great way to see the city.
