If you are starting from Buffalo, WY, take State Highway 16 (also known as the Cloud Peak Skyway) west from the city. Continue on this highway for approximately 25 miles. Look for the signs for the Cloud Peak Wilderness area, which will direct you to Forest Service Road 25. Turn right onto this road and continue for another 4 miles until you reach the Cloud Peak Wilderness trailheads. Please note that the road may be gravel in some sections, so drive carefully.
