If you're driving from Laramie, take US-130 west towards the Snowy Range. After approximately 30 miles, you'll reach the entrance of the Snowy Range Scenic Byway. Continue along this scenic route (WY-130) for about 10 miles until you reach the parking area for Lake Marie. The parking lot is clearly marked. From the parking area, it's a short hike down to the lake.

Currently, public transportation options are limited in this remote area. However, if you're staying in Laramie, you might find local shuttle services or guided tours that can take you to the Snowy Range. Check with your accommodation for any available shuttle services. Once you get to the Snowy Range, follow the same directions as above to reach Lake Marie.

If you're already in the Snowy Range area and prefer hiking, you can access Lake Marie via various trails starting from the nearby parking areas. Look for the signs for the Lake Marie Trailhead. The hike is moderate and takes about 30 minutes to an hour depending on your pace. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water.
