Our guided tour through the Sintra castle of King Ferdinand II by our extraordinary guide Angela was the highlight of the tour. Angela is a world of knowledge about the castle and the town of Sintra. Her driving skills are exceptional and we were very comfortable throughout the tour.

What a perfect day! We were picked up right on time by our guide Mehdi. As we drove to our first stop he educated us, in perfect English, on Portuguese history, from kings to the impact of the Knights Templar - he told it like a story and was very interactive so this was incredibly enjoyable. Throughout our visits he kept us informed about what we were seeing. The best part was his ability to navigate the timing of which castle we were visiting and managing the lines (which were CRAZY) so that we jumped to the head. He took us off the main tour and we were able to go through "escape routes" cut into the rock. This experience was so personal and wonderful, as we watched the busloads of people wait in lines and be herded like cattle. Highly recommend this activity and if you have the chance to request Mehdi, do so!!!

We had a wonderful day with Ricky. He was full of knowledge and a fascinating guide. It was such a pleasure to have him show us Siintra and Cascais. He grew up in the area so he really knew the way to get around and try to miss the times when areas would be crowded which was perfect for us ! I would highly suggest that you try to get Ricky for a guide!

Our driver Antonio was knowledgeable and a joy to spend our day with him. He explained many things during the tour of the Pena P alace that we would otherwise have missed.

Belinda_Y

Our guide was very informative. He talked about the history of Portugal, the culture and customs. Highly recommend for a personal tour of the coast & Sintra.

Miguel customized the tour to what we like to do and see. The town of Sintra was wonderful to see. The castles were great to see, but the lineup would have been too long to see inside.
