Cabo da Roca

Park and National Palace of Pena
We take-off from Lisbon in the morning heading directly to the UNESCO-listed Pena Palace. The 19th-century Romantic palace is a wonder to discover and one you will not soon forget. It is one of the best places to take pictures. It’s placed high on top of the mountain with a splendid view that stretches for miles, all the way to the Ocean.

This magnificent property is a jungle of exotic trees and flowering shrubs. Its’ history dates back to the time of the Moors, but it was named after a small 16th century chapel dedicated to Our Lady of Monteserrat, from Catalonia, Spain.

Sintra National Palace
In the heart of the village of Sintra, a pair of unusual conical chimneys rise above the Royal Palace. This Palace became the favourite summer retreat of the court and continued, as the residence of the Portuguese royalty, until the 1980s. The gradual reconstruction of the palace resulted in a fascinating amalgam of styles.
