    From Berat's main bus station, take a bus to Tomorr i Madh. Buses leave regularly, and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and costs around 300 ALL. From Tomorr i Madh, you can walk or hire a local taxi to the park entrance. A taxi ride should cost around 500 ALL.

Tomorri Mountain National Park, established in 1956 and expanded in 2019, protects a significant portion of the Tomorr massif in south-central Albania. Encompassing 261.06 km² (100.80 sq mi), the park is characterized by rugged terrain, towering peaks, and diverse ecosystems. Mount Tomorr, rising to 2,416 m (7,926 ft), dominates the landscape and holds a special place in Albanian culture and mythology, often referred to as the 'Mount Olympus' of Albania. The park's varied geology, featuring limestone and karst formations, has created a unique environment supporting diverse flora and fauna. Forests of beech, pine, and hazel cover the slopes, while alpine pastures dot the higher elevations. Wildlife includes wolves, foxes, wild boars, roe deer, and various bird species, including golden eagles. Natural monuments such as Kapinova Cave, Tomorri Glacial Cirques and the Sotira Waterfalls add to the park's allure. Tomorri Mountain is a sacred site for both Christians and Bektashi Muslims. Thousands of Bektashi pilgrims visit the tomb of Abaz Aliu on the mountain each August. Visitors can explore the park through a network of hiking trails, ranging from easy walks to challenging climbs. The village of Dardhe, known for its ski slopes, and the town of Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage site, are nearby.
