To reach Theth by public transport, take a bus from Tirana to Shkodër. Buses depart frequently from Tirana's North and South Albania Bus Terminal, costing around 500 Lekë (5 EUR). From Shkodër, a minibus departs to Theth at 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM from Hotel Rozafa. The bus ticket from Shkodër to Theth costs 12 EUR and the journey takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Theth, the minibus will drop you off at Mini Market Jezerca.

A private 4-wheel drive taxi can be hired from Shkodër to Theth for approximately 90 EUR. The journey takes around 2 hours. Taxis offer a more direct and comfortable option, especially if traveling with luggage or in a group. Alternatively, a taxi from the village to Nderlysaj, the starting point for the Blue Eye hike, costs about 5 EUR per person.
