If you are driving in Coconino National Forest, head south on AZ-89A from the nearest point of interest. Continue for about 36 miles until you reach the junction with Dead Horse Ranch Road. Turn right onto Dead Horse Ranch Rd. After about 1 mile, you will see the entrance to Dead Horse Ranch State Park on your left. Keep an eye out for the park's signage. Note that there is a vehicle entry fee of approximately $7 for Arizona residents and $10 for non-residents.
