    From Grand Canyon Village, board the free shuttle bus at the Village Route stop. Choose the red shuttle bus that goes to Hermit Road. The buses run regularly, so check the schedule posted at the shuttle bus stop. Get off at the Powell Point stop, which is well-marked. The viewpoint is just a short walk from the shuttle stop.

    If you prefer to hike, start from the Bright Angel Trailhead located in Grand Canyon Village. Hike along the Rim Trail towards Hermit’s Rest.
