Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Grand Canyon Village Market, exit the market and head south on Village Loop Drive. Continue walking straight for about 0.3 miles until you reach the intersection with South Entrance Road. Turn left onto South Entrance Road, and after a short walk of about 0.1 miles, you will see Verkamp's Visitor Center on your left at 100 S Entrance Rd.

  • Shuttle Bus

    If you prefer to take the shuttle, locate the nearest shuttle stop along the Village Route. Board the shuttle heading towards the South Kaibab Trailhead or the Visitor Center. After a short ride, disembark at the Verkamp's Visitor Center stop. The center will be directly in front of you as you exit the shuttle.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, start from anywhere in the Grand Canyon Village. Follow the paved bike paths to the South Entrance Road. Once you reach South Entrance Road, ride south for about 0.1 miles, and you will find Verkamp's Visitor Center on your left at 100 S Entrance Rd.
