Getting There

Walking
From the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, head southwest on Village Loop Drive toward the South Rim. Continue walking along this paved path for about 0.5 miles until you reach the shuttle bus stop for the Hermit’s Rest route. After reaching the stop, take the Hermit’s Rest shuttle bus (Route Red) which runs frequently. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes and disembark at the Maricopa Point stop. Follow the short trail from the bus stop to reach the viewpoint.
