From any of the nearby lodges (e.g., Yavapai Lodge, Maswik Lodge), follow the designated walking paths towards the main Visitor Center Plaza. The walk is generally short, and well-marked with signs leading to the Visitor Center and Mather Point. No cost is involved.

From anywhere within Grand Canyon Village, utilize the free South Rim Shuttle Bus system. Several shuttle routes converge at the Visitor Center Shuttle Bus Terminal. Check the specific route schedules (Village Route - Blue) for the most up-to-date information. The shuttle service is free.

Driving
From Highway 64, follow the signs to Grand Canyon Village and the Visitor Center. As you approach the Visitor Center Plaza, you'll find four large parking lots. A park entrance fee is required: $35 per private vehicle, $30 per motorcycle, or $20 per person entering by foot or bicycle.
