Getting There

Walking
From the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, head east on Village Loop Drive for about 0.5 miles. You will pass the Yavapai Geology Museum on your left. Continue straight until you reach the Rim Trail, then turn left onto the Rim Trail. Mather Point will be a short walk along the trail, approximately 0.25 miles ahead. Look for signs directing you to Mather Point.

Shuttle Bus
Catch the free shuttle bus from the Grand Canyon Village area. Board the Orange Route shuttle at any of the designated shuttle stops, such as the Visitor Center. Stay on the bus for 3 stops, and disembark at the Mather Point stop. From the shuttle stop, follow the signs to Mather Point, which is just a short walk away.

If you have rented a bike, start at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center and head east along the bike path on Village Loop Drive. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the junction with the Rim Trail. Turn left onto the Rim Trail and ride until you reach Mather Point. Be cautious of pedestrians along the trail.
