    From Grand Canyon Village, take Desert View Drive (Highway 64) east. The unmarked dirt parking area for Shoshone Point is approximately 3.3 miles (5.3 km) east of the Grand Canyon Visitor Center. It's located between mile markers 244 and 245. The parking lot will be on the left side of the road. There are no fees to park.

    From Grand Canyon Village, a taxi or ride-share can take you to the Shoshone Point Trailhead. The drive is approximately 5.5 miles (8.8 km) and should take around 8 minutes. Contact Xanterra Taxi Service at (928) 638-2631 for current rates. Expect to pay around $20-$30 for a one-way trip.
