Walking
Start from the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, which is located at 1 Village Loop Drive. Head south on Village Loop Drive until you reach the intersection with South Entrance Road. Cross the road carefully and continue walking straight. You will see the South Kaibab Trailhead sign on your right. The trailhead is approximately a 20-minute walk from the Visitor Center.
Shuttle Bus
From the Grand Canyon Visitor Center, board the Orange Route shuttle bus, which runs frequently during the day. Stay on the bus for two stops until you reach the South Kaibab Trailhead. The shuttle buses are a convenient option, and the ride will take about 10 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs to the trailhead.
Biking
If you have a bike, start at the Grand Canyon Visitor Center and ride south on the paved bike path. Follow the path for about 1.5 miles. You will see the South Kaibab Trailhead on your left. Ensure you follow the biking rules and stay on designated paths for safety.
