Make sure to check the park hours before your visit, as it is open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM.

For those using public transportation, you can take the Verde Lynx shuttle service from Sedona to Cottonwood. The shuttle runs several times a day, and the fare is around $2 each way. Once you arrive at the Cottonwood transfer station, you will need to call a taxi or rideshare service to reach Dead Horse Ranch State Park, as public transit does not go directly to the park. The distance from the transfer station to the park is approximately 3 miles, which should cost around $10-$15 for a taxi.
