Public Bus
From Tempe, head to the nearest bus stop on Mill Ave & 6th St. Take the Valley Metro Bus Route 72 towards Gilbert Rd & Baseline Rd. Ride for about 30 minutes, then transfer at the Mesa Arts Center to Bus Route 40 towards Apache Junction. After about 40 minutes, get off at the stop at Apache Junction Main St & Idaho Rd. From there, you can walk approximately 1.5 miles northeast along Idaho Rd until you reach the intersection with Mammoth Mine Rd, where the Goldfield Ghost Town is located.

If you prefer to bike, rent a bike from a local shop in Tempe. Start by heading east on Rio Salado Parkway toward Rural Rd. Continue straight on Rural Rd until you reach the intersection with Apache Blvd. Turn right on Apache Blvd and continue until you reach Idaho Rd. From there, turn left and bike north until you reach Mammoth Mine Rd. The Goldfield Ghost Town will be on your right.
