There is no entry fee for this area, but be sure to park only in designated areas to avoid fines.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options are limited in Tonto National Forest. However, if you are starting from Phoenix, you can take a Greyhound bus to Globe, AZ. From Globe, you can arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to take you to LeGrand Cove. Ensure to book your taxi in advance, as services are not always readily available. The cost of the bus ticket to Globe may vary, typically around $30-$50, and taxi fares can range significantly based on distance and time.
Hiking
