One corner of the museum recreates Sevak's Yerevan office. A large fresco by artist Sarkis Muradyan dominates the foyer, portraying Sevak alongside his contemporaries, family, and influential figures. Sevak is buried in a garden near the house, along with his wife Nelly Menagarishvili. The museum was opened in 1981, on the 10th anniversary of the poet's death.
