From Lake Sevan, take the E1 highway heading south towards Yerevan. Continue on the E1 for approximately 35 km. Look for the sign indicating the turnoff for Khosrov Forest State Reserve, which is near the village of Ararat. Follow the road signs for about 15 km until you reach the entrance of Khosrov Forest State Reserve. Make sure to have a map or GPS to help navigate, as the last part of the route can be winding and rural.

Start your journey at the Lake Sevan bus station. Look for a minibus (marshrutka) heading towards Yerevan. After about 35 km, ask the driver to drop you off near the turnoff for Khosrov Forest State Reserve (the village of Ararat).
