    From the main hotel area in Palm Beach, a taxi to the California Lighthouse and sand dunes takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Taxis are readily available at most hotels. Agree on the fare before starting your journey. The approximate fare is $30-$35. A $3 surcharge applies on Sundays, holidays, and between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

    Public Transport

    From Oranjestad, take the Arubus Route L10 to Arashi Beach. The bus stops near the California Lighthouse, a short walk from the sand dunes. A single trip costs $2.60 (4.50 AWG), or a round trip is $5 (8.75 AWG). Buses run every 15 minutes from 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM, and every 40 minutes until 11:30 PM.

    Car

    From Oranjestad, take Route 1 north towards Noord. Follow the signs to the California Lighthouse. Parking is available near the lighthouse, from which the dunes are easily accessible. Parking is free. Be aware that the roads closer to the lighthouse can be unpaved.

    Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking on sand, as exploring the dunes involves some physical activity.
    Bring sunscreen, a hat, and plenty of water, as there is little shade on the dunes.
