Discover more about Natural Bridge Aruba

The Natural Bridge of Aruba was once one of the island's most iconic landmarks, drawing visitors from around the globe to witness its breathtaking beauty. This remarkable geological formation, crafted by centuries of ocean waves crashing against coral limestone, formed a stunning arch that spanned approximately 100 feet. The bridge stood approximately 25 feet high and was the largest of its kind in the Caribbean. Formed over thousands of years, the relentless pounding waves and strong winds slowly chiseled away at the limestone cliffs, resulting in the creation of several natural bridges. The most renowned and largest one was the Natural Bridge, located between the Bushiribana gold mine ruins and Andicuri Beach. Tragically, the Natural Bridge collapsed on September 2, 2005, after millions of years of erosion. Fortunately, the collapse occurred at night, avoiding potential disaster as no one was present. Despite its collapse, the remains of the Natural Bridge continue to draw visitors to Aruba's northern coast. The site offers a glimpse into the island's natural history and showcases the raw power of nature. Visitors can also explore a souvenir shop and snack bar housed in a replica cunucu house. Just a short distance from the remains lies the Baby Natural Bridge, a smaller yet still striking formation. The bridge is located near the historic Bushiribana gold mine ruins and the pristine Andicuri Beach.
