Discover more about Baby Beach

Baby Beach, officially known as Klein Lagoen, is a shallow, sheltered lagoon located near the village of Seroe Colorado, on the southeast end of Aruba. Its name reflects its popularity among families, as the water is calm and shallow enough for even the smallest children to enjoy. In the 1950s, the Aruba Esso Club was located at Baby Beach as part of the Lago Colony. The colony was home to American refinery workers and their families. A protective concrete barrier was constructed in the water, creating the calm lagoon enjoyed today. Today, Baby Beach remains a favorite destination for both locals and tourists. The calm waters make it a safe place to snorkel, especially for beginners, with marine life including barracuda, parrot fish and angelfish. Visitors can rent chairs, umbrellas, and snorkeling gear, and enjoy food and drinks at the beach's refreshment stands. While the oil refinery is visible from the beach, the water remains clean due to local currents.
