Discover more about Tres Trapi

Tres Trapi isn't your typical sandy beach; instead, it's a rocky cove famous for its thriving underwater ecosystem. The name comes from the three steps carved into the coastal rock, providing access to the water. Located on the northwest coast of Aruba, just north of the high-rise hotel area, it's a prime location for snorkeling, especially for those hoping to encounter sea turtles. The cove's clear, shallow waters make it ideal for spotting various sea creatures. Snorkelers can observe sea turtles feeding on seagrass, especially in the early morning. The area also features cushion sea stars and colorful fish. While the small beach area can get crowded, the main draw is the easily accessible snorkeling. Tres Trapi lacks many amenities, preserving its natural charm. There are no restrooms, restaurants or chair rentals, so visitors should come prepared with their own gear, snacks, and water. Despite the limited facilities, the free parking and stunning underwater views make it a must-visit destination for nature lovers.
