Discover more about Tres Trapi Beach

Tres Trapi Beach, a hidden gem on Aruba's northwestern coast, offers more than just a typical beach experience. The name, meaning 'three steps,' refers to the steps carved into the rock that provide access to the water. This small cove, located between Malmok Beach and Boca Catalina, is a haven for snorkelers and nature enthusiasts. Unlike the long stretches of powdery sand found elsewhere on Aruba, Tres Trapi features a rocky shoreline and crystal-clear turquoise waters. The main attraction lies beneath the surface, where a vibrant underwater ecosystem thrives. Snorkelers can encounter a variety of marine life, including sea turtles, cushion sea stars, and colorful fish. The turtles are often found grazing on the seagrass, approximately 100 yards from the shore. While the beach itself is small and can get crowded, especially during peak hours, the snorkeling experience is well worth the visit. The unique landscape and the opportunity to swim alongside sea turtles make Tres Trapi a must-see destination for those seeking a memorable Aruban adventure. Remember to bring water shoes, as the rocks can be slippery, and arrive early to avoid the crowds and increase your chances of spotting turtles.
