If you are traveling by car, head towards Katoomba. From the Great Western Highway (A32), take the exit toward Katoomba. Once in Katoomba, follow the signs to Scenic World. Specifically, turn onto Violet Street and then onto Cliff Drive. The Scenic Railway is located at the intersection of Violet St and Cliff Dr, Katoomba NSW 2780. There is ample parking available at Scenic World, which is free for visitors.
Public Transport - Train
For those using public transport, take a train from Sydney to Katoomba Station. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Once at Katoomba Station, you can either walk (about 30 minutes) or take a local bus (Route 685) that directly services Scenic World. The bus stop is located just outside the station, and the fare will be around AUD 5.00.
Public Transport - Bus
If you are already in the Blue Mountains area, you can also take a local bus to Scenic World. The Route 686 bus departs from various locations in Katoomba and stops directly at Scenic World. The fare is approximately AUD 4.00. Make sure to check the local bus schedule for the most accurate times.
Walking
For those who prefer to walk, from Katoomba town center, it is a picturesque 30-minute walk to Scenic World. Head southwest on Katoomba Street and follow the signs to Scenic World. The walk includes some uphill sections, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the surrounding views.
