Getting There

  • Bus

    From Cairns city center, head to the Cairns Central Station located at 51 Grafton St. Catch the Sunbus route 110 toward Smithfield. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Smithfield Shopping Centre stop. Here, you can transfer to route 111, which takes you to Aloomba. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Aloomba stop, walk towards Behana Gorge Rd.

  • Walking

    After getting off at the Aloomba stop, head south on Behana Gorge Rd. Follow the road for about 2.5 kilometers. The road is sealed and easy to walk on. Keep an eye out for signage leading to Clamshell Falls. The falls are located at the end of the road, where you will find a walking track leading directly to the falls.
