There is a parking area at Dove Lake, which is approximately 20 minutes away (13 km). Note that there is a parking fee of AUD 16 per vehicle, valid for 24 hours. Once parked, follow the clearly marked walking track to Dove Lake Boatshed, which is only a short 10-15 minute walk along the lakeshore.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Cradle Mountain Shuttle Bus. Buses run regularly from the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre to Dove Lake during peak season. The shuttle service costs around AUD 20 for a round trip. Once you arrive at Dove Lake, follow the walking track to reach the Boatshed, which will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
