Car
If you're driving to Dove Lake Circuit from the main entrance of Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, head towards Cradle Mountain Road. Follow Cradle Mountain Road for about 10 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for Dove Lake Road. Turn right onto Dove Lake Road, and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. At the end of the road, you'll find the Dove Lake car park, where you can park your vehicle. Note that there may be a parking fee of around AUD 16 per vehicle, which is valid for a day.

Public Bus
If you're using public transportation, check the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service for bus services that operate in the area. The bus service usually departs from the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. From the Visitor Centre, take the shuttle bus that goes to Dove Lake. The service is typically seasonal, so be sure to check the schedule in advance. The fare for the shuttle bus is approximately AUD 15 per adult for a round trip.

If you're staying at nearby accommodations, such as Cradle Mountain Lodge or Discovery Parks, you can walk to Dove Lake Circuit. From Cradle Mountain Lodge, it will take you about 30-40 minutes to walk to the Dove Lake car park along well-defined walking paths. Make sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water, as the trail can be uneven in some sections.
