Car
If you're driving, head to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre located at Cradle Mountain Rd, Cradle Mountain TAS 7306. From the Visitor Centre, drive along Cradle Mountain Road until you reach the car park for the Marion's Lookout trailhead. The car park is well signposted and can accommodate a number of vehicles. Please note that there is a park entry fee which is currently around AUD 16 per vehicle for a day pass.

Public Transportation
If you're using public transport, take a bus from Launceston or Hobart to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Services may vary, so check the latest schedules and availability. Once at the Visitor Centre, you can join a shuttle service that operates to the various trailheads, including the Marion's Lookout trailhead. Be sure to confirm shuttle times as they can change seasonally.

From the Marion's Lookout car park, follow the well-marked Marion's Lookout Trail. This trail is approximately 2.5 kilometers one way and involves a steep ascent. It's recommended to allow 1.5 to 2 hours to reach the lookout, depending on your fitness level. The path is well-maintained but can be rocky and uneven, so sturdy footwear is recommended.
