If you are driving, start from the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. Head south on Cradle Mountain Road for approximately 3 kilometers. Turn left onto Dove Canyon Track. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Knyvet Falls car park. Note: There is no parking fee, but ensure you follow park regulations.

Public Transportation
If you are using public transport, catch a bus from Launceston or Hobart to the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to the trailhead. To reach Knyvet Falls, follow the Dove Canyon Track from the visitor centre. The walk is approximately 5 kilometers one way, so allow at least 2-3 hours to hike there and back. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance for return trips.

Once you arrive at the Knyvet Falls car park, follow the marked Dove Canyon Track. The hike to Knyvet Falls is about 1.5 kilometers and will take approximately 30-45 minutes. The track is well-defined, but be prepared for some uneven terrain and keep an eye out for local wildlife along the way.
