Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Thredbo, head north on the Alpine Way (B72) for about 30 km. Continue until you reach the Geehi Village area. Look for the signs directing you towards the Scammells Ridge Lookout. The lookout is located at M6G2+F6, Geehi NSW 2642. There is parking available near the lookout, and the road is bitumen, making for an easy drive. Ensure to bring along any necessary food and water, as facilities are limited.

    Take a bus from Jindabyne or Thredbo to Geehi. Once you arrive at the bus stop in Geehi, you will need to walk approximately 3 km south along the Alpine Way to reach the Scammells Ridge Lookout.
