From Kapitelplatz, walk towards the Residenza and take the path leading up towards Mönchsberg. Follow the signs for 'Mönchsberg' and take the stairs or the path upward. After a short climb, you will reach the Mönchsberg lift station. Take the lift up to the top of Mönchsberg. Once you exit the lift, follow the path to the left which will lead you to the Lodronsche Stadtbefestigung (Schartenmauer) located at Mönchsberg 31. The structure is clearly marked and offers beautiful views of the city.
