Walking
If you are in the city center of Graz, start at Hauptplatz (the main square). From there, head southeast toward the Herrengasse street. Continue walking along Herrengasse until you reach the intersection with Burggasse. Turn left onto Burggasse, and after a short walk, you will find the entrance to the Schlossberg mountain. Follow the signs to the Schlossbergbahn (funicular railway) station.

Take the Schlossbergbahn funicular up the hill to the Schlossberg. Once you arrive at the top, follow the signs pointing towards the Kasematten. You will descend slightly and walk through the beautiful park area until you reach the entrance of the Kasematten - Schlossbergbühne, located at Schloßberg 5.

Walking
Alternatively, if you prefer not to take the funicular, you can walk up the pathways leading to the Schlossberg. From Hauptplatz, follow the same route to Burggasse, but instead of turning left, continue straight on the path that leads directly up to the Schlossberg. This route takes you through a scenic walk and takes about 15-20 minutes.

Public Transport
If you are further from the city center, you can take tram line 1, 3, or 5 to the 'Jakominiplatz' stop. From Jakominiplatz, transfer to tram line 4 or 5 and get off at the 'Schlossbergplatz' stop. From there, follow the pedestrian walkway signs to the Schlossberg and proceed to the Kasematten as previously described.
